Qur’an

(Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:261)

Translation:

“The example of those who spend their wealth in the Way of Allah is like a seed of grain that sprouts seven ears; in every ear there are a hundred grains. Allah multiplies (the reward) for whom He wills. And Allah is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing.”

Hadith

Translation:

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“When a person dies, all their deeds come to an end except three: ongoing charity (ṣadaqah jāriyah), beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them.”

(Sahih Muslim)
